What is the impact of running training on our heart?
We often think of our heart as only an organ and forget it is actually a muscle. And like any other muscle in our body, it responds to the right training. A well conditioned runner will have a larger heart which is capable of pumping more blood (and nutrients) per heartbeat and therein provide more oxygen to the other exercising muscles.
